KOLLEKTIV TURMSTRASSE Kollektiv Turmstrasse started on a quiet street in Wismar, a small town on Germany's Baltic coast. Originally a duo, the project took its name from the address where the first recordings were made. It has since become one of the most respected live acts in electronic music, recognized for deep house warmth, breakbeat tension, and melancholic hooks that stay with you long after the lights come on. Behind it is Nico Plagemann. Since taking the project solo in 2021, he has only sharpened the sound. His productions resist easy categorization: soul-inflected chords sit alongside stripped-back techno, hip hop swing runs through house grooves, indie sensibility meets dancefloor weight.
